International Cultural Exchange

The Japanese University Challenge, (JUC), is a matriculated program for international students who wish to enroll in a Japanese University after high school.  The JUC program started in 2008, and since then out of 130 students, 100% have successfully entered university after graduating through the JUC program.

The JUC program starts either in April or September. Students may enroll for one, one and a half, two, two and a half, or three years

JUC students begin their Sendai Ikuei with intensive JSL classes. As their Japanese progresses, other subject courses are added to prepare the students for University exams.

JUC students live in the school dormitories close to Sendai Ikuei's Tagajo campus.
